American Mill Dogs Rescue was founded in 2018 by a group of passionate animal advocates who witnessed firsthand the conditions inside commercial breeding facilities. We started as a small foster network and have grown into a national rescue organization.
The dogs we rescue have often spent their entire lives in small cages, used only for breeding. They've never felt grass beneath their paws, never known the warmth of a loving home. Our mission is to give them their first taste of freedom and love.
Over the years, we've rescued and rehomed over 300 mill dogs, and each success story fuels our passion to continue this important work.
Every dog receives full veterinary care including spay/neuter, dental work, vaccinations, and treatment for any chronic conditions from years of neglect.
Our network of experienced foster homes provides the patience and training needed to help mill dogs learn to trust humans and become wonderful companions.
Our commitment doesn't end at adoption. We provide ongoing support, resources, and guidance to ensure every dog and family thrives together.
